Whitney Port in Bright Orange Boutique 9 Post Flat Sandals

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Whitney Port was spotted leaving a nail salon in Beverly Hills with a female friend last August 19. Now that her reality TV series The Hills is over, I guess she has more time to relax and to spend on herself now.

Here are pictures of Whitney Port and the very comfy casual outfit she wore for her manicure appointment:

August 19, 2010 – Whitney Port out and about in Beverly Hills, CA

Nice bright, glaring orange sandals Ms. Port, but that still doesn’t distract me from the fact that you’re wearing lacy silk bedroom shorts out in public (which are wrinkly and look like you slept in them by the way)!

Wait a minute – is this a new trend? I hope it isn’t because you’re practically just begging to flash someone when you’re wearing baggy lacy silk shorts.

Anyway, Whitney Port’s orange sandals with triangular cutouts are the Boutique 9 Post Flat Sandals (shown here in light grey):

I couldn’t find them in the orange color Whitney Port has, but you can get them in black or in this light grey color for $84.00 at Bluefly.com.

If you want more color choices, Endless.com has the Light Natural, Natural Reptile and Silver Colors.  They’re also offering the best deal on the Boutique 9 Post Flat Sandals and have them listed at just $81.14 a pop.

UPDATE: Shopbop.com just lowered their price on their stock of Boutique 9 Post Cutout Flat Booties! Sizes and colors are severely limited, but they now have these sandals listed for just $59.50 which is 50% off of the original price.

Help ID the Gladiator Sandals Marion Cotillard Wore at LAX

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Marion Cotillard is busy, busy, busy! She has just wrapped up filming for “Inception”, is currently busy promoting “Inception”, and is now juggling that with filming the much awaited Woody Allen movie “Midnight in Paris” among numerous other movie projects.

It looks like we’re going to be seeing more and more of Miss Cotillard in the near future, something which I’m sure a lot of people won’t mind at all especially since she almost always looks impeccable even when she’s hopping from airport to airport like here in these pictures:

July 14, 2010 – Marion Cotillard departs from LAX airport and flies back to France after gracing the LA premiere of her new film “Inception”

Amazing skin, flawless makeup and great mixing of menswear with women’s wear in this outfit. I know it’s not a popular style, but I am liking the masculine fedora and gladiator sandals with the feminine cropped blazer, floral top and ruffle skirt on Marion Cotillard. Maybe it’s because her clothes are all excellent as separate pieces but it’s also easy to pull anything off when you’re this beautiful.

The brand of Marion Cotillard’s gladiator sandals has eluded me since these pictures came out. Can anyone help ID her glads? Here are a couple of close-up shots:

Marion Cotillard’s gladiator sandals at LAX

They’re just simple strappy gladiator sandals in a very basic style so maybe the fact that they’re devoid of any embellishments is making them hard to identify.

My search for Marion Cotillard’s gladiators wasn’t all for naught though. I came across these 5 styles that look similar to or at least have the same color as Marion Cotillard’s gladiator sandals:

Clockwise from top: Report Jilly, $70.00 (was $79.95); Corso Como Minnie, $153.00; Boutique 9 Phila, $118.80 (was $132.00); Ralph Lauren Collection Maisie, $417.28 (was $795.00); Cole Haan Air Aster Sandal, $168.00

Any clues as to who makes Marion Cotillard’s gladiators would be much appreciated!

EDIT: Thanks to Steph for ID-ing Marion Cotillard’s sandals! I checked out the K. Jacques website too and Marion’s sandals look exactly like the K. Jacques Agopos sandals. The open heel straps are even the same! Check out more K. Jacques sandals at Shopbop.com. Prices are between $200 -$300.
