The likes of Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and designers Tory Burch, Donna Karan, Mary Kate Olsen, Marc Jacobs and Vera Wang were in attendance at the 2010 Fashion’s Night Out Kick-Off press conference held at NYC’s City Hall last August 11. They were there in support of the second Fashion’s Night Out, which is now an annual global shopping event that celebrates and supports the fashion and retail industries.

It’s a good sign for us when designers themselves wear gladiator sandals to a prestigious event! Check out the gladiator sandal spots on Donna Karan, Mary Kate Olsen and Marc Jacobs who coincidentally are all standing next to each other in the group pictures from the press conference:

Anna Kendrick was seen with her Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World co-star Michael Cera outside the London Studios in um, London last Wednesday. They were there, of course, to promote their latest movie and to attend its UK premiere held on that same day.

Michael Cera (the guy in the red and blue striped shirt whom I’ve cut off from the pictures) appears to be dressed down, so I wonder what Anna Kendrick is all dressed up for? She certainly didn’t wear that dress peeking out of her hoodie and those shoes to the premiere, so I’d like to know for what event Anne Kendrick wore this outfit.

Even if she was just relaxin’ in these pictures, you know those shoes are too nice to just kick back in. Anna Kendrick is wearing the Nexi sandals from Rock & Republic:

Nice new take on the gladiator sandal isn’t it? It’s like an ankle boot with lots of cutouts or a sandal with a suede covered heel. Definitely much too nice for just relaxin’; these things deserve to be taken out.

For the first time, Vanessa Hudgens is not looking so perfect. I am pertaining to this picture of her taken while the starlet was spotted out and about in West Hollywood.

What do you think of her casual style?

Am I alone is saying that she doesn’t look as good as she usually does in this picture? Perhaps it’s the angle, or perhaps it’s the pieces she’s wearing. A looser top to go with her skinnies, or a bootcut pair of pants to go with her tight tank would have done the trick. With the current outfit, she looks more like a pear instead of her usual hourglass.
