So many celebrities in gladiator sandals spots in just the past couple of days! Scarlett Johansson, Kate Bosworth, Heidi Klum – all blond bombshells who have been seen out and about wearing their favorite summer sandals.

So as not to leave anyone out, here’s a mega post covering all of those celebrities, their choice of footwear and then some. (Note: I was going to include Charlize Theron, another blond bombshell in this post but that lady is in a class of her own.)

Let’s start with the ever foxy miss Scarlett Johansson:

Scarlett traded in her usually sultry look on the red carpet for a more boyish outfit when she was seen on her way out of her apartment on June 15. Scarlett was dressed down in a plaid shirt and black jeans, and over accessorized with a fedora, a mismatched scarf, two handbags and black gladiator sandals with a low wedge heel.

Kate Bosworth on the other hand was less adorned when she watched a World Cup soccer match with her hot boyfriend Alexander Skarsgard last Sunday. She wore this:

While Alexander Skarsgard showed support for his home team by wearing a Swedish soccer team jersey, Kate was neutral in a simple grey tank, cargo pants and cognac-colored lace-up gladiator sandals.

I don’t know what’s going on with Heidi Klum’s hair but her ruffly dress, fringe bag and studded ankle cuff sandals are cute.

I miss the days when Mischa Barton, OC star and then “IT” girl, always looked good, fashionable, and stylish. These days, she is often seen in totally unflattering outfits and I just can’t help but sigh and say what a waste. Though really, if you think about it, her style meltdown is not caused by the weight gain; it’s more because she keeps on wearing the wrong outfit for her now much-more-pronounced pear-shaped body.

That aside, I also think she seriously needs to work out and loose the fat on her hips and thighs because that’s  definitely where all the extra pounds went. She’s in Hollywood so if she doesn’t want to work out, there are a lot of other options she could resort to, whether it be surgical or non-surgical.

I was rather happy to see her looking good for once during Derek Blasberg’s CLASSY book launch last month. Here’s a picture of her:

What do you think? Looks good right? That’s because she wore the right dress. The cut of the skirt hid her wide hips really well, and the extended sleeves provided more width on her shoulders. In essence, she looked more balanced and proportionate. Wearing her blond hair down was also a good way to draw the attention away from the hips and onto the face.

I also didn’t miss the pair on her feet; it’s precisely the reason why I’m writing this article. She was spotted wearing the same sandals last March.

Here’s a closer look:

It looks like lace up gladiators but really isn’t. Basically, the thick T comes with very thin straps interlaced through it. Interesting…don’t know who made it though, so let’s see if I can find a look-alike.

Other “regular” celebs think it’s fine to be caught by the paparazzi coming out of a nail spa in flip flops or the gym in their gym clothes, but not Charlize Theron. She’s way too classy for that and I think she’d drop dead first before we ever see this blond bombshell be anything but a bombshell in her candid pictures.

Of course, I went looking for Charlize’s shoes and these are what came up:

Err, I thought they’d be more “gladiator-y”. They certainly looked a lot more like gladiator sandals in Charlize’s candids. They resemble 18th century button boots more in this product image, and if it weren’t for the t-strap, I don’t think I’d call these gladiators at all.

Anyway, Charlize Theron’s “sort of” gladiator sandals (or gladiator sandals at first sight?) are the Sigerson Morrison 9880 Twisted Strap Heels. Zappos.com carries the rosewood leather color of these shoes:
