And just as expected, the Dior Haute-Couture 2012 show had some major celeb attendees, like Cameron Diaz who wowed the crowd with her monochromatic polka-dot ensemble.

Aside from the scene-stealing dress, she also had on some major piece of foot candy – a pair of caged sandals from the Giuseppe Zanotti Spring 2012 Collection. This sexy pair is nowhere to be found online yet but we did manage to spot a couple of look-a-likes that have the same strappy, sexy vibe. These caged gladiator sandals are all from Endless.

The Alexander McQueen Studded Platform Sandals are true to the brand’s level of high fashion styling. It features the brand’s take on the studded shoes trend, but they of course had to take it up a notch by overloading the stud details and incorporating a curved heel instead of the usual straight heel.

The gold studs are distributed all over the shoe for that edgy, rockstar glam. The 5 1/2″ curved heel is what scares me though, as I have not yet taken on the perilous challenge of walking in one. This ankle-breaking beauty is available in Nordstrom for $2,295. If you are not quite ready for these many studs, then you can opt for something with more subtle stud details like this one.

Like all you other shoeholics, I embrace high heels with open arms, especially if they are from a masterful brand that has perfected the craft of making women’s shoes.

The Jimmy Choo ‘Vivienne’ Mixed Media Platform Sandal is certainly a bold one, as it is sporting multiple trends all at once. It can be scary and overwhelming at first but you must have great understanding of shoes so you can appreciate its true beauty.

As you can see, this fearless shoe snobs understated styling with its over-the-top tribal-glam design. It has a lot going on: colorblocking, studs, braided patent leather, snakeskin, suede platform and some raffia too.

Despite the overstated styling, the shoe is still perfectly balanced and it just works! It plays with many different textures but has managed to look as good as it does. It has a 6-inch heel but the 2-inch platform make it surprisingly easy to walk in.

She met up with Dior executive Sidney Toledano for the launch and celebration of the luxury brand’s new capsule collection with German artist Anselm Reyle. The collection includes bags, shoes, jewelry and beauty products.

Bar looked gorgeous, working a sheer black dress and what seems to be a new tan. Her shoe choice for the special night was also a scene-stealer. She was wearing the Dior ‘Etoile’ caged sandals in hot, python leather. This pair is from the brand’s Cruise 2012 Collection.
