Whether or not fringe is passé, which I highly doubt, Jessica looks pretty good in the shoes.  When it comes to dressing, I believe in the mantra that “looking good depends on how one wears and carries the clothes/accessories, not the other way around”

Fringe on sandals simply offers a unique come-on appeal that cannot be found in say, studded sandals. I am not saying studded sandals are mediocre or substandard, I am merely saying fringe sandals put something different on the plate; quite different from the appeal given by studded sandals.
