Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers’ Fun, Flirty Gladiator Dalle Heel

We knew that the gladiator sandal would be even strappier this 2010, but this turn for the flirtier and girlier gladiator caught us by surprise.

Take these Dalle Heels from Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers line of shoes for instance, newly arrived over at Heels.com:

They’re bloody red, they’re beribboned, and the heels are stacked sky high. That’s a real woman’s shoe if we ever saw one, and takes all of your femininity to pull off. And you have to see the little element of surprise on this shoe – the sole:

That’s a really, really bright yellow. Looks great with the black and brown versions of this shoe, but the red really sets it off.

However girly this shoe is, it’s still undeniable that the thickly-cut straps and the pyramid studs are taken from the old gladiator sandal. They give a kick to this otherwise very feminine heel, and opens up more options for women who like girly things with a touch of punk.

The gladiator inspiration is more obvious on the black version:
